This past weekend, I went to the Mall of America to check out the new spring Debut pop-up store, Shop for Kindness! It features 13 brands that are giving back withΒ every purchase made,Β in a variety of charitable causes. So you can buyΒ something nice, while doingΒ something kind. Sign me up!
You can see the complete list of featured brands here, but it includes some of my favorites: Love Your Melon, Roma Boots, and Smile Network! I learned about of ton of other amazing brands while visiting. It’s amazing to see the talent and graciousness in these creator’s hearts, and it was incredibly touching to hear the story behind their brand.
My Shop for Kindness Experience
Roma Boots // For every pair of rain boots purchased, a pair is donated to a child in need. In addition, 10% of gross sales are donated back to the ROMA Foundation, which supports education, self-sufficiency, and sustainability in some of the world’s most vulnerable communities.
These boots are so cute, practical, and lightweight! I had a hard time deciding between the blush pink and yellow boots… how adorable are they?! I ended up bringing home the blush pink. π
Pab’s Packs: Delivering encouragement to chronically ill teens through custom backpacks filled with comfort items. These candles smell amazing!
Woodchuck // Conserving the environment by planting a tree for every customizable wood product sold.
Northern Glasses // Helping solve the water crisis in developing nations with graphically-designed glassware and gifts.
House of Talents // Bringing the artistry and craftsmanship of West Africa to the world, helping talented artisans to build the lives they envision for themselves and their families.
Smile Network // Providing free cleft lip surgeries for impoverished children through the sale of boutique apparel + accessories.
Through Jimmy’s Eyes // Shifting the perception on Autism through high-quality accessories and visionary artwork.
Love Your Melon // Giving hats to children battling cancer and supporting the fight against pediatric cancer with stylish beanies.

If you are local, I highly recommend you check out thisΒ debut pop-upΒ before they close! The employees are all super engaged and were soΒ helpful in explaining each brand as well. Not to mention, they provided sparkling water + KIND bars while you shopped, and Jonny Pops after checking out! (I got the Banana Cinnamon – SO yummy!) Can you say bestΒ shopping experience ever? I loved every minute.Β It’s simple… buy something nice, do something kind. πΒ Thanks for having me, Mall of America!
