Yay for spring arriving in Minnesota! It’s been great not going out side and freezing my butt off just walking to and fro. Spring weather is so great, since you typically need a light jacket in the morning, andΒ ditch it later on. Today I’m sharing one of my go-to Spring street style looks,Β in which I include my “light” spring jacket: the moto!
TBH, I wasΒ freezing when we took these photos (a few weeks ago!) but I kind of forgot about them for a while until this week! Whoops. π Too good not to share though!
WHAT I WORE:
Faux Suede Moto JacketΒ | White Criss-Cross TopΒ | Distressed Raw Hem JeansΒ | Strappy BootiesΒ (only $20!) | Laser Cut Tote (Best spring tote! Another similar option here) | Prada Sunglasses | Gold Necklaces
If you don’t have a moto jacket yet, now would be a great time to pick one up! My favorites are here, here and here. Moto jackets are great, because they are light weight, but still keep you pretty warm. I also love that they aren’t big and bulky, which can really cramp your style! Another great thing about them is that you can use them to compliment your outfit – and actuallyΒ showΒ your outfit, instead of hiding it!
I received this criss-cross top from my mother-in-law (she knows my tasteΒ SOΒ well!), which is from Victoria’s Secret PINK. Unfortunately it’s sold out online, but I found identical ones hereΒ and here.
Are you guys sick of seeing these jeans yet?! Hopefully not… because I am not evenΒ closeΒ to being sick of them yet. I was a little hesitant when purchasing them at first because of the extreme raw hem, but it’s literally my favorite detail in these jeans! The fit is great too – I do recommend going up a size, like I did. They do stretch with some wear, but shrink back up a bit after washing. Did I mention the insane price for these yet? Under $60, and you can probably get them even cheaper with all the great sales that AEΒ runs.
You probably caught these strappy booties in this post last week, and they areΒ still available in all sizes FOR $20! Amazingness.
On Monday we celebrated Tom’s 28th birthday, as best as we possible could on a Monday with a full day of work. We met up for lunch at home and ordered take out for dinner, followed by a movie and snuggle sesh with Brucey. We ended up watching The Heartbreak Kid on Netflix – not a new movie by any means, but an oldie but goodie!
Thanks for stopping by, and TGIAF! π
Does that mean spring is heading to WI next?! And I’m totally not sick of these jeans, they’re amazing! xo
