It’s so important to Tom and I to get Keldon & Fritz outside and staying active (and off screens) through their childhood, and so getting a swing set for our backyard for them to play on was a no-brainer for us! We shopped around and read lots of reviews online before we finally landed on ordering one from Backyard Discovery. Overall, safety was the biggest priority, but of course it helped that the Skyfort III Swing Set model that we went with also has the visual appeal, and room for plenty of fun!
Tom took it upon himself to do the entire assembly solo, and while it took up a lot of his free time this month, he would do it again (especially after seeing how much joy it brings Keldon). Backyard Discovery provided easy-to-follow instructions for the assembly, and out of the hours put in, I think I only heard him curse once… haha! He said that it really didn’t give him much trouble, just time consuming is all (to be transparent, it took him probably around 30 hours total to complete the set-up). The final step was officially completed today when he installed the tube slide, and I am not kidding when I say that Keldon went down it about 25 times afterwards, and we had to bribe him to come in for lunch. 🙂
